On 12th March 2018, H&J Martin returned to Strandtown primary school for an extension and upgrade contract, having completed the original build in the 1920’s.
The £4m project was the final scheme to be delivered under the AMEY FMP Framework in Belfast. Phase 1 of the works included the construction of a new hard play area,

The construction of these blocks contribute to the improvement of facilities for the 1000 number pupils at the school. During the summer of 2018, works were completed of the widening of the North Road entrance to the school, improving accessibility for all.
