Mount Stewart Gatehouse Lodge

H&J Martin Construction completed works to restore the Mount Stewart Gatehouse Lodge on the Portaferry Road, which had been partly demolished by an out of control lorry.

The project, costing over £100,000 was completed well ahead of schedule.

Mount Stewart is an 19th-century house and garden in County Down, Northern Ireland, owned by the National Trust.

Situated on the east shore of Strangford Lough, a few miles outside the town of Newtownards and near Greyabbey, it was the Irish seat of the Vane-Tempest-Stewart family, Marquesses of Londonderry.
