A19-A1058 Coast Road Scheme picks up a RICS BIM4SME Award

13 Sep 2017

The A19-A1058 Coast Road Scheme, currently being delivered by the Sisk Lagan JV on behalf of Highways England, are delighted to have picked up the ‘Best use of BIM for Construction Sequencing’ Award at the RICS BIM4SME Awards held at HMS Belfast in London on 12th September.

The entry focused on the innovative use of 4D Construction Sequencing to enable the Project Team to develop a robust construction methodology while working in a complex and live environment. The use of 4D Construction Sequencing enabled the Project Team to clearly communicate proposed traffic management and construction methodology to the Client and wider stakeholders including the local community.

RICS in collaboration with BIM4SME established the RICS BIM4SME Awards three years ago to recognise businesses at the forefront of delivering successful BIM projects and initiatives, whilst promoting best practice and the importance of adopting BIM.
With 10 categories open for entries across the globe these awards are once again celebrating the construction sectors growing confidence in delivering and utilising BIM.
