CEF Awards Finalists

18 Sep 2017

Lagan Construction Group attended the CEF ‘Showcase of Finalists’ event which was held at the IFA National Football Stadium in Belfast. Lagan Construction Group have been shortlisted in two categories; Sustainability and a JV entry with Graham Construction in the GB & Republic of Ireland Construction Award category for the Green Port Hull Project.

The Awards – run by the Construction Employers Federation [CEF] in partnership with SPECIFY magazine – celebrate the best construction, civil engineering and house building projects delivered by Northern Irish companies over the past year.

“The sheer scale and variety of the work on display is testament to the high level of quality, skill, and innovation that underpins the construction industry in Northern Ireland. Our annual Construction Excellence Awards are a celebration of the fantastic work that the sector delivers every year across the UK, Ireland and further afield and, importantly, recognise the huge contribution that the sector makes to the local economy. Our panel of judges, who have been visiting each of the shortlisted projects to identify the 13 category winners and the overall winner, have been hugely impressed with the calibre of entries this year and now have very difficult decisions to make. I warmly congratulate all of this year’s shortlisted companies and wish them every success in the Awards.”
John Armstrong, CEF Managing Director

The winners of the Construction Excellence Awards 2017 will be revealed at a Gala Dinner on 12 October in the Culloden Hotel, Belfast.
