Lagan Construction Group visit Gilnahirk Primary School

03 Jun 2016

At Lagan Construction Group Health and Safety is our number one priority and we continue to spread our safety conscious vision to local schools in the areas where we work.

Lagan Construction Group visited Gilnahirk Primary School in Belfast to deliver their Safety Sam presentation which outlines the dangers playing on construction sites and teaches the children to look out for potential hazards.

The Watermains Rehabilitation Framework team are currently undertaking works in the area as part of an investment programme to improve water quality and supply by NI Water.

“We were delighted to have Lagan Construction Group in our school. To have local contractors talk to children about the work that goes on in our local area makes great sense. Not only that but the children enjoyed, were curious and learnt more about safety and responsibility. Thanks Lagan Construction Group.”

Lagan Construction Group donated a number of Hi-Vis vests to Gilnahirk Primary School for their use whilst participating in outdoor activities.
